What do we do ?

At the international level :

• UFER maintains a permanent representation at the United Nations (Economic and Social Council) and UNICEF in New York and Geneva.
  
  
• UFER does advocacy and lobbying in international institutions, making interventions at various meetings and conferences on issues related to its aims and priorities.
  
  
• UFER organizes international meetings and training seminars in line with the aims and objectives of the Movement.
  
  
• UFER collaborates with several NGO networks for joint actions, among which the Conference of NGOs in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations (CONGO)
  
  
• UFER informs its members through a Newsletter.

At the local level :

Through the involvement of its members in the social, medical and educational fields, priority is given to :

• The promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms;
  
  
• The struggle against all forms of racism and exclusion;
  
  
• The protection of the rights of the most vulnerable, in particular women, children, indigenous people and minorities.
